Fun Fact

Despite being surrounded by lush greenery, Stennack is just eleven minutes to one of my favourite north coast beaches, Gwithian. There are plenty of beautiful areas on the farm to get your couple shots nailed but if you fancy a little adventure and having sandy toes while donning your wedding dress is your thing then let’s go! This short excursion also gives you both the chance to catch up on the day so far and recharge your social batteries.

What I Like About Stennack

Stennack must be one of my top three venues to visit. It is just so me! I love the rustic vibe of the farm, with the iconic round straw bales that are beautiful yet functionally screening the working farm from you and your guests. I love the grandeur of the rustic ceremony barn because it is simply just that, rustic but also grandly magnificent.

I love that in a full day’s wedding I see the cows slowly migrate into the fields at the back of the ceremony barn and then come the evening they all shuffle slowly back towards the farm for evening milking.

The team are so lovely and each and every wedding I have photographed there has been completely relaxed yet still organised explicitly.

I love that the bridal suite looks down over the green where the hustle and bustle of the morning prep can be watched by the bride and her bridal party as they sit in the make up chair and look down through the window at the goings on below.

I also love the courtyard which is gently surrounded by the main buildings but makes for a great place to hold your reception in the warmer months with a singer or acoustic band setting a relaxed and mellow vibe.

I could go on and on about how much I love this place! If you’re considering it as a venue, check out the blogs below about the real weddings I have shot there!

Memorable Moment

Tarrian and Ethan married at Stennack Farm in November 2024. This couple are just my kind of people! I loved everything they had planned for their day and we hit it off like old friends when we met for their pre-wedding consultation just a week before their wedding. They had decided that they wanted to take some time out and go on a quick trip to Gwithian Beach for some photos which was like music to my ears!

Tarrian is a warrior! It was cold, windy and she practically skipped down the rocky and broken path to the beach without a second thought. On reaching the beach I asked them to walk away and back towards me on the shore line when to our amazement a seal popped his head up and watched the couple in action! It was so dreamy! More seals joined him and at one point I realised that I was taking more photos of the seal than the couple!! Safe to say, although I adore and encourage all animal participation at a wedding, this is the only one where I have photographed seals!
