Tregulland Barn and Cottages Provided the Most Perfect and Intimate Setting For Izzy and Hallam’s Wedding 

The Venue


If you're dreaming of a wedding venue that's sophisticated, secluded, and intimate, and with the most peaceful, never-ending views of greenery, Tregulland might be exactly what you're looking for. Nestled in the heart of the countryside, it offers a refined yet relaxed setting that feels like a true hidden gem.

Ideal for smaller, more personal celebrations—especially those that unfold over a few days—Tregulland comfortably sleeps up to 22 guests. With everything you could possibly need right on site, there’s no real reason to leave. From the heated indoor freshwater pool and steam room to the private cinema and wood-fired hot tub, it’s a peaceful, all-in-one retreat that feels like your own private hideaway in the countryside.

The Ceremony


The Old Workshop is a quaint, light and airy ceremony room that comfortably seats up to 40 guests. It looks out over the Menhir Wild Flower Garden which is also an option for outdoor ceremonies in brighter weather.

Izzy and Hallum chose to hold their ceremony indoors, decorating the aisle with a beautiful flower arch and tying emerald green ribbons to the chairs for a touch of elegance and colour. The couple exchanged vows in front of their closest family and friends, as a gentle breeze drifted through the floor-length windows—bringing a sense of the outdoors into the space, despite being inside the workshop.

The Reception


Champagne was flowing throughout the afternoon as Izzy and Hallum’s guests soaked up the sunshine and admired the views. The terrace, which overlooks the valley, connects seamlessly to the reception room—perfect for mingling between indoors and out.

The grounds were the perfect setting for Izzy and Hallum’s wedding day photo opportunities. We captured a group shot with all of their guests standing on the iconic Menhir Stone. After offers of warm greetings, hugs and congratulations, the couple then took a moment to get lost in the long grasses and wildflowers for some intimate shots of just the two of them. To top it off, the breathtaking valley backdrop was ideal for their family group photos, adding a stunning natural element to their memories.

While we captured the photos, one of Tregulland’s private chefs was on hand to prepare and serve the canapés for the guests.

The Wedding Breakfast


Although I wasn’t able to stay for Izzy and Hallum’s wedding breakfast, I was fortunate enough to have a moment to see and photograph the dining room before the guests arrived. And lucky it was—because it had to be one of the most wonderfully eclectic wedding setups I’ve ever seen. The blend of elegance and quirky charm created a beautiful contrast, with every corner offering something new and delightful to discover.

With all 22 guests gathered around a single banquet-style table, the room exuded a true sense of celebratory feasting, further enhanced by the large open doors that offered a glimpse into the kitchen, where the chef was hard at work preparing and cooking their fine dining style feast.

In a Nutshell


I’m often asked which my favourite wedding venue is, and honestly, it’s such a tough question. I’m lucky enough to visit so many incredible venues, each with its own unique charm and vibe. But then Tregulland comes to mind, and I can genuinely say I’m excited to return to this hidden gem. It’s not just the beauty and tranquility of Tregulland that draws me in, but also the kind of people who choose this venue for their wedding—people like Izzy and Hallum. They appreciate understated elegance, a venue with heart, and plenty of character. At weddings like this, with smaller guest lists, I often feel like part of the celebration, getting to know the guests as I move through my day capturing the moments.


And this is why I love what I do. I know I’m preserving moments in time that can never be repeated, but just as importantly, I feel so privileged to be part of days like this—the most meaningful days in my couples’ lives. Celebrating alongside them, smiling, and often shedding a happy tear or two, is something I never take for granted.
